Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world. – Nelson Mandela
My name is Jill Palermo and I am currently teaching Grade 3/4 at a Catholic school in Victoria, Australia. I also hold the position of Religious Education Leader.
I am not ashamed to say that I am quite particular about what I do and create. I try to embrace my inner ‘perfectionist’, however am careful not to let it control me and my teaching. I believe that organisation, collaboration and dedication are three essential traits for educators.
I have a great personal passion for learning which fuels my interest in Education. As both an educator and a life-long learner, I am hopeful that this blog will help me to connect with others in order to discuss pedagogy and to share strategies and practical ideas for the classroom.
2016 will be my tenth year of teaching. Apart from teaching Grade 3/4 for the past seven years, I have also taught Grade 1/2 for three years.
